HSBC Securities Services hires Steven McCullough

HSBC Securities Services has appointed Steven McCullough as head of asset owners and managers business development and client management, Asia Pacific, effective 27 March.

In his new role, McCullough will drive the asset owners and managers strategy in the region.

Based in Hong Kong, he will locally report to Brian Godins, regional head of securities services, Asia Pacific and on a functional basis, Sebastien Danloy, global head of asset owners and managers, securities services.

In addition, McCullough will become a member of the securities services Asia Pacific executive committee and asset owners and managers management committee.

He joins from Citibank where he worked as managing director, client executive and account management, Asia Pacific for custody and fund services.

At Citibank, he led a regional team covering clients in the asset managers, insurance, pension, banks sovereign/public sector segments across 12 locations.

Prior to that, McCullough spent 25 years at JPMorgan Chase, where he held several senior client services and implementation positions in their markets, securities and investor services areas.
